How to listen Country Power Station

Unlike traditional FM radio you can listen to Country Power Station using virtually any internet capable device. Not only can you use your computer but you can also use devices known as 'internet radio' appliances as well as most modern mobile phones, video game uints and even televisions. If you have internet then you most likely have access.

The instructions on this page will assist you in drectly connecting to use using various methods, programs and devices. Since technologies change all the time and it seems every day brings a new way to tune in from anywhere in the world check back often for changes! If you've done it differently please let us know so we can add it to this page.

Also remember - radio via the internet can be bandwidth intensive so if you are connecting from a metered source (such as some cell phone and satellite connections) that you should keep an eye on bandwidth usage when accessing the station through these sources. Our main feeds are at 64kbps.

Using your PC:

Most of our regular listeners tune in using their home or work computer. This is the method that's been used for years and works easily. But with advancec in technology you're no longer limited to listening to us from that computer. If you would like to know more, read below these instructions.

Listening with Winamp:

  • Open Winamp
  • Right click while your cursor is over the player area
  • Select PLAY from the popup menu
  • Select URL from the popup menu
  • Type in http://65.49.77.146:9532
  • Select OPEN

The stream should start within a few seconds.

Listening with Windows Media Player:

  • Open Windows Media Player
  • On the top nav menu select FILE
  • On the drop down menu select OPEN URL
  • Type in http://65.49.77.146:9532
  • Select OK

The stream should start within a few seconds.

I WANT TO LISTEN WITHOUT MY COMPUTER!

There are so many ways to access Country Power Station it's pretty hard to find a place that you can't. You can use many modern TV, video game and DVR units on the market. Additionally you can listen using most modern cell phones, Wi-Fi devices and even through internet ready radio devices.

Listening with your iPhone:

  1. Download the Tuner application on your iPhone.
  2. Open the Tuner application.
  3. Click on Search and then Open.
  4. Enter the Name - Country Poer Station
  5. Enter the URL - http://65.49.77.146:9532
  6. Click on Done.

The stream should start within a few seconds.
